Forget About Calorie Counting

The Yogi Diet is a workshop based on the ancient (and tested) wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda. In this therapeutic workshop, certified yoga therapist, Deborah Charnes leads two guided mindfulness meditations. Between the meditations, she shares a wealth of knowledge about the practices of ahimsa, sattva, and the doshas. All are of great importance as we choose to customize our diets to best meet our needs.

According to Ayurveda, almost all our physical and emotional well-being is affected by our digestive fire. And we can soothe or stoke the fire with proper diet. Keep in mind, a proper diet from an Ayurvedic standpoint is very different from Western thoughts about what's "proper." Moreover, according to Ayurveda, what's best for Cindy today, may not be right for John. Nor may it be appropriate for Cindy in another 90 days.


First, participants can hit pause and replay as often as they choose. Plus, they can revisit the video as needed. Of great value to some, as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), Deborah's session is eligible for 1.5 CEUs with the Yoga Alliance.
