Approximately 70 percent of Americans' body mass index is too high. Moreover, some 60 percent suffer from digestive disorders. That’s why I created The Yogi Diet on-demand video workshop to share important dietary tips. My therapeutic offering can be viewed and reviewed anytime, anywhere. Plus, it's eligible for Yoga Alliance CEUs.

A chapter in my book, From the Boxing Ring to the Ashram, focuses on digestive disorders. Plus, another chapter is about sattvic diets and lifestyles. For example, I share that according to Ayurveda, our physical and emotional well-being is affected by our digestive fire. Importantly, we can soothe or stoke the fire based on what and when we consume. First, understand that a proper diet from an Ayurvedic standpoint is not what Western culture thinks. Next, according to Ayurveda, what's best for Cindy may not be right for John. Nor may it be appropriate for Cindy in another 90 days. At the same time, there are tips appropriate for all.

1. The Yogi Diet is based on principles from Ayurveda and yoga, including ahimsa, mindfulness, and sattva. Additionally, I pull from the teachings of modern integrative health experts. Learn more. Understand optimal dietary (NOT calorie counting) tips. Register for The Yogi Diet on-demand video workshop to begin that reset.
2. Not a happy cook? Buy Bliss House Kitchen seasonings, mixes, food items, or recipes. All are aligned with The Yogi Diet principles. There’s an app for that—actually two.
3. Better yet, ask me about The Yogi Diet in person while you savor a delicious (FREE) hearty meal from Bliss House. Join me on Saturday, March 22 at San Antonio's Woodlawn Lake.
Bliss House hosts Lighten Up, a celebration of life and light, conscious creativity, and inner growth. This is my fourth year leading yoga at this family-friendly festival that sets a stage for community connection and peace. Aside from my special class, there's live music, holistic vendors, mandala installations, floating illuminated artworks, light art installations, poetry, and more. View a glimpse of the 2023 opening ceremony led by one of the gurus featured in my book, (now available in audio).
